About Us

The School was established in January 1997, and maintains high standards in Early Years Education, giving strong foundation for later years.

MEAB Accreditation Logo

We have continuously strived to gain the Montessori Evaluation & Accreditation Board (MEAB) plaque. The MEAB scheme was introduced by the Montessori St. Nicholas charity to raise standards within the movements with an aim to encourage all genuine Montessori schools to undergo accreditation as a means of self-assessment and quality improvement.

The charity is aiming for high quality education in all settings that use the Montessori name and working to make parents aware that there is a national benchmark of standards for its schools.

After years of building successful careers in both the advertising and fashion industries, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take over New World Montessori Ltd as the sole owner and principal in 2005. I always wished for creating a safe environment where children have the freedom to express, explore their creativity, imagination, free will and to build upon their confidence and independence.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Economics. In 2002, after having my son, I gained and completed the International Montessori Degree, and further embarked on working as a freelance tutor for Montessori Centre International for 5 years in supporting future students along their Montessori journeys.

Having always been interested in the ways humans develop and behave, I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology through the Open University. Most recently I have qualified as a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming and as a Life Coach. This has been the most exciting personal journey of self-discovery, change and self-development which I believe to be what children in our care will experience at New World Montessori.

I am super excited to show and welcome you to visit our two beautiful settings.

What Parents Say

My daughter, Zoe, went to the New World Montessori Nursery at St Barnabas Church, Ealing for 2 years before leaving to start primary school. It is an amazing nursery - the teachers are so fun, supportive and caring and Zoe has blossomed into a confident, curious and chatty little girl.

The teachers noticed what Zoe showed an interest in and helped her explore what she enjoyed, as well as challenging her to try new things or practice activities that she felt less sure of. When she read books, she was asked questions and encouraged to voice her opinion; she always came home with paintings, drawings and models; she tried new foods and loved getting involved in chopping and preparing different ingredients; she did science experiments and learnt about the human body, the environment and the solar system. A great deal of care goes into all the activities on offer and the way that different topics are explored with the children.

The nursery also has a beautiful garden and, particularly in the warmer months, the kids spend a lot of time outside releasing energy and exploring nature. I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough - I am so grateful that Zoe had the opportunity to spend time in such a nurturing environment.

Sending our little 2 year old to New World Montessori Nursery was the best decision we made. Ms. Haleh and her outstanding team were genuinely warm and professional providing personalised attention and care in small groups.

They went out of their way to make our son feel welcomed and settled. The ethos is very much about learning through creative play, interacting with other children and letting the child explore and develop at his/her own pace, supplemented with extra curricular activities such as French, music & dance and yoga, which our son really enjoyed.

We highly recommend NWM and only wish our son could have stayed longer!

New World Montessori really is a home away from home. The teachers were wonderful for my daughter who was there for 2 years. By the time she started school she was very ready both in terms of recognising letters and numbers and socially.

I did not hesitate to enroll my son when he turned 2. It's a wonderful intimate nurturing environment, professionally run and all the kids always seem so happy! Highly recommend.
